Dear Community,
It is with great excitement and profound gratitude to Hashem that we are pleased to share a significant and inspiring development for our beloved community: the establishment of a Kollel Avreichim of Arizona. This initiative represents a continuation in our community’s journey, one rooted in vision, dedication, and a passion for Torah growth.

We are deeply mindful of the legacy upon which we build. The Phoenix Community Kollel laid a strong foundation, and the impact of its rabbanim, members, and supporters continues to echo throughout the Valley. Their mesiras nefesh and pioneering spirit shaped a thriving city. We owe them a debt of gratitude, and we move forward with a sense of responsibility to continue what they so nobly began.

This project would not have been possible without the encouragement, guidance, and unwavering support of our Rabbinic leadership. With heartfelt appreciation, we thank Rabbi Aryeh Cohen, Rabbi Baruch Cohen, Rabbi Goetz, Rabbi Green, Rabbi Harris, Rabbi Isaacs, Rabbi Landesman, Rabbi Nisanov, Rabbi Roizman, and Rabbi Shoshan. Each of these Rabbanim has lent their wisdom, strength, time and support to this effort.

Nearly two years ago, this project began to take root. With continuous hadracha from Gedolei Roshei Yeshiva and leadership from both Yeshivas Chaim Berlin and Beis Medrash Govoha (BMG), the initiative has steadily grown in scope and substance. Most recently, in partnership with Rabbi Levitansky of BMG, we undertook an extensive and thoughtful search to identify a Rosh Kollel who embodies the values and aspirations of our community.

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Rabbi Aharon Stauber as the Rosh Kollel. Rabbi Stauber brings with him a rich background in Torah scholarship and leadership. He currently leads a vibrant chabura of 50 yungerleit in BMG and is the author of two seforim in halacha: Kuntres Tefilas Haderech and Shtorei Hedyotos Beshabbos. As the son-in-law of Rav Moshe Francis, Rosh Kollel of Kollel Zichron Shneur in Chicago, he represents a distinguished mesorah of harbatzas Torah and community leadership.

Of course, a Kollel is more than just a place of learning—it is a source of inspiration, a wellspring of growth, for the future of the entire community. This is a Kollel for all of us, and with time, we believe it will become one of the cherished pillars of Torah life in our city. As such, its success depends on the partnership of the whole community—through personal involvement, a shared commitment to its mission, and financial support.

We are currently in the process of assembling our founding Kollel families, with the goal of beginning in the coming months - Where everyone is invited to come learn. While the process is neither simple nor swift, the beauty and potential of the community continue to shine through, making it an ever more attractive home for families devoted to Torah and growth.

Our vision for the Kollel extends far beyond the walls of the beis medrash. We dream of a kol Torah that resonates through every shul, every home, and every heart. We aspire to ignite a ruach of aliyah that will uplift, inspire, and strengthen every member of our community—planting seeds of connection and commitment that will bear fruit for generations.

With Hashem’s help, and the continued partnership of our devoted community, we look forward to sharing more exciting updates.
